I first met Hazel when she enrolled her daughter in our Medical Aesthetic Course, I knew of Hazel’s business being in the same area as our Academy. I was rather impressed with her knowledge and skills, and thought it was quite wise of her to enroll her daughter in our school. After searching online for advanced laser training and not getting any reponse from anyone in Canada I finally found Lezah and Hazel Currie. Hazel called me immediately and after speaking with her for a short time realized I had found thr right person. One of the first questions she asked me was if I knew about the Fitzpatrick Skin Scale and when I said I knew a little about it she advised me to get very familiar with it. She became my trainer over the phone and I knew I was in good hands.

I explained to her that the company I purchased my laser from was not very helpful in customer service and didn't offer any more than one day of training on the laser. I was looking for advanced training especially on skin care treatments for rosacea, fine lines, acne, skin rejuvination,spider veins and of course hair removal. Hazel said she would train me in all of these treatments. Not only did she suggest I take an esthetics course to make myself more familiar with identifying skin problems she said I would need to use products to prepare my clients for their treatments.

I flew from Cape Breton, Nova Scotia to to Hazels' Spa in Mississauga and spent two days with her doing one on one intensive training on laser skin treatments. She not only gave me the basics but also shared with me her vast knowledge and experience in the esthetic and laser business. I recomend Hazel highly as a trainer and teacher and as someone who can help a person like me who is new to the business with her ideas and suggestions on running a successful business. She is not only a trainer to me but has also become a trusted mentor who is there whenever I call and ask for her advice. She is a people person and her sincerity shines through and you know immediately when you meet her that she is there for you. I am looking forward to Hazel coming to Cape Breton this summer to train myself and my esthetician on anti-aging treatments. I am so glad I found her and credit her with helping my business grow and expand beyond my expectations.
